Road tunnel ventilation method study based on smoke-dilution air requirement
Zhu Chun, Wang Lina, Zhang Xu, Zhang Yalei
Introduces the concept of the mass extinction efficiency of particulates emitted by vehicles, establishes an external mixed model of the integrated extinction by vehicle exhaust fine particulates, non-pipe exhaust coarse particulates and NO2. Presents a calculation method of smoke-dilution air requirement in the tunnel according to the pollutant emission factors, and compares it with the corresponding methods in China’s current code and PIARC 2004. Clarifies the concepts of smoke baseline emissions. Obtains that the total airflow requirement factor of heavy duty vehicles in the typical driving condition is respectively 2.84,1.9,1,0.89 and 0.78 in the emission standards of Pre-EU,EU-I to EU-IV.
